What exactly is one-of-a-kind Exclusive Originals?

Simply put, there is only one jersey dress or top, for example Floral Infusion, or Olive, and made in that particular fabric, more importantly it’s all about YOU.  The couture clothing is just as unique as you are.

I’ll tell you a brief story as to why this is the ethos of my Couture Boutique.

The story of a coat – my coat!

Many years ago I was working at a sales company and much to my delight received a large bonus for hitting my target, it was about £350, the equivalent to say roughly £900 in today’s terms.

I decided I was going to treat myself, really splash out and buy myself a winter coat; it was going to be pure luxury, and special.  I found what I was looking for in a high-end  designer department store, twirling around in my ‘black and white wool, hounds-tooth check coat, with velvet collar trim, detailing on the sleeve, it came elegantly down to my ankle – I felt, I looked a million dollars’.  My purchase made I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to wear her.

This coat became my armour of glamour, and then suddenly I started to notice that other women had the same idea and they were now wearing my coat, I felt as if I were some sort of magnet, and everywhere I looked there she was staring back at me on somebody else, but how could this be, I spent a small fortune on her?!

Well the final straw came one morning whilst on my way to work, I was waiting at the bus stop when this lady comes along, about 5ft9 to my 5ft2 and yes, you guessed it, she too, was wearing my coat, only on her the finished length was just past her knees and on me at my ankles!!

We were an unusual double act, and to add further to this cosmic fashion sense of humour, there was only one seat on the bus, so we ended up sitting next to each other. This lovely lady leaned over to me and whispered “at least it shows we have good taste”, to which I could only smile.

"And that my fine ladies of couture is why I am all about dressing the individual, and the jersey dresses and tops by this couture designer are the only-one-of-a-kind".
